GBN Image Film: "Biobanks - Essential for biomedical Research"

Why is it important for researchers to work with professional biobanks? How do scientists get access to the biosamples stored there and the associated data? A four-minute film by the German Biobank Alliance (GBA) provides information on this: "Biobanks - essential for biomedical research". The German Biobank Node (GBN) published the film on the occasion of the "Sample Locator" launch - an online search tool that enables cross-biobank searches for samples and data.
